Spring Fling is an annual celebration by all three Piedmont elementary schools that brings together the entire community to support our children’s education. Funds raised by the Spring Fling auction go directly to the schools, supporting science, music, art, math, computer, library activities and other vital programs that would otherwise be cut.
Each year, the Spring Fling celebration culminates in a fabulous gala open to all families in the community and that includes a silent auction, dinner, dancing, and an exciting live auction event. This year’s event is the Jazz Age-themed Spring Fling 2012 — Great Gatsby!
Spring Fling is one of the largest and most important annual fundraisers for the schools, second only to The Giving Campaign. The Spring Fling fundraiser is even more important this year as Piedmont schools try to fill the devastating funding gap created by the deepest state budget cuts to public education since the Great Depression.
Our goal for Spring Fling is 100% parent participation, whether by volunteering, donating/purchasing auction items, and/or attending the event.
